Technician Quick Start (Printable)

One-page checklist to claim work, document properly, and close jobs without delays.

Use this single page during your first week. Check items off as you go.

Morning#

  • Open Dashboard → My Orders; scan for urgent items.
  • Check Schedule; confirm parts on hand for today’s visits.
  • Enable notifications and sign in on mobile.

During Work#

  • Claim the order (or confirm assignment).
  • Add a brief note when you change status.
  • Log labour with start/end times.
  • Add parts with quantities and notes.
  • Upload photos (wide + close-up where helpful).

Communication#

  • Keep notes short, factual, and friendly.
  • Mark public notes only when intended for the customer.
  • Add ETAs or supplier info when awaiting parts.

Close Out#

  • Final note summarising resolution.
  • Status → Ready for Return or Completed.
  • Update next steps or pickup/delivery plan.
